Willmott Dixon
Privately owned British contracting, interiors and property support group founded in 1852 by bricklayer John Willmott, headquartered in Letchworth.
Willmott Dixon traces its history to 1852, when the bricklayer John Willmott won his first contract, a brick-lined well at Wimpole in Cambridgeshire, and set up on his own from Bassingbourn. It is a privately owned contracting, interior fit-out and property support group, with its headquarters at the Spirella Building in Letchworth since 2000. Rick Willmott, the fifth generation of the family to lead it, became executive chairman in January 2024 when Graham Dundas was promoted to chief executive.
