Transcend Residential Property Fund was founded and listed on the JSE in 2016, initially on AltX before migrating to the Main Board in 2020. Its strategy centres on acquiring income-generating residential properties aimed at affordable and lifestyle-enhancing housing. An independent fund profile recorded 21 properties with about 4,000 units at the end of 2022, including Urban Ridge West, Urban Ridge South and Urban Ridge East. The portfolio is concentrated in South African urban markets.
