The General Property Trust was launched in 1971 as Australia’s first listed property trust. Lendlease originally managed it before management was internalised in 2005, creating the independent GPT business. GPT now reports about A$41.6 billion of assets under management across diversified property sectors. The group is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
