Coronation Merchant Bank traces its history to Associated Discount House Limited, founded in 1993, which transitioned into a licensed merchant bank in 2015 following a merchant banking licence and FX dealing licence. It offers corporate and investment banking, private banking/wealth management and global markets/treasury services, and is the first and only Nigerian merchant bank with an international risk rating (Fitch B-), with branches in Abuja and Port Harcourt alongside its Lagos head office.
