ABB has operated in Nigeria in areas including electrical engineering, automation and oil and gas services. Nigeria’s electricity regulator has documented ABB Nigeria’s involvement in the High Voltage Technology Centre at the University of Lagos. The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board also reported ABB Nigeria’s support for a local electrical panel manufacturing facility and its role in expanding local value addition. ABB’s Nigeria operation forms part of the group’s wider electrification and automation business.
