Turner Construction Company was founded in New York City in 1902 by Henry Chandlee Turner, a civil engineering graduate who brought a patented concrete reinforcing technique to the New York market and won early contracts for concrete stairways on the city’s first subway line. Hochtief bought The Turner Corporation in 1999, and Turner is headquartered at 66 Hudson Boulevard East in New York. It provides construction management, general contracting and design-build services in the US and about 20 other countries, and reported US$29.2 billion in revenue in 2025 with Peter Davoren as president and CEO.
