Heriot REIT invests in and develops South African retail, industrial, office, hospitality and residential property.

Heriot was founded by Steven Herring in 1998 as a private property investment business built around long-term income from blue-chip tenants. The business initially concentrated on industrial property before developing retail centres from 2003. Its later portfolio expanded across retail, industrial, office, hospitality, residential and specialised assets, and the group became a JSE-listed REIT. Heriot operates from offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
