Pivotal Property Fund was a South African listed property developer and capital-growth fund that was acquired by Redefine Properties.

Pivotal Property Fund was a JSE-listed property developer and capital-growth fund before Redefine Properties acquired it in January 2017. Redefine’s JSE disclosure records a consideration of R5.2 billion for the acquisition and says Pivotal contributed R870.1 million of revenue during the eight months after acquisition. An independent property publication records Pivotal’s 80% development interest in Kyalami Corner, a 28,000 square metre retail centre. The Pivotal business therefore represents a historical listed property platform rather than a separately traded fund today.
