Lekki Worldwide Investment Company is the Lagos State-backed investment company responsible for facilitating, developing and coordinating the Lekki Free Zone.

Lekki Worldwide Investment Company was established to help develop the Lekki Free Zone into an investment and industrial destination in Lagos. Its official profile says it is an equity partner in master-developer joint ventures including Lekki Free Zone Development Company and Alaro City Free Zone Company. The zone covers about 16,500 hectares and combines industrial, commercial, residential and logistics uses. A Lagos State government profile independently describes LWIL as the project implementation company for the zone, although that source gives 2004 while the company site gives 2006 as the founding year.
