Five Star Logistics Limited was formed as a special purpose vehicle by Comet Shipping Agencies Nigeria and partners. In 2006 it took over operation of the Roll On Roll Off terminal at Tin Can Island Port after winning the concession bid. The company operates terminal and cargo handling infrastructure and provides equipment and operational services at the facility. The Bureau of Public Enterprise records the concession and its later extension.
