Starsight Energy, founded in 2015 and backed by Helios Investment Partners, is a leading commercial and industrial (C&I) solar and cooling-as-a-service provider with operations across Nigeria, Ghana and East Africa. In 2021 it became the first Nigerian renewable energy company to secure Verra carbon-credit certification, and in September 2022 it merged with South Africa’s SolarAfrica (backed by AIIM) to create a pan-African group spanning eastern, western and southern Africa with over 220 MW of generation capacity.
